February Review: Achieving Goals and Moving Beyond

February activity schedule released!

I was able to do a lot of things besides YouTube.

A look back at February. Goals achieved! And the growth I saw beyond that.

My goal for February was "1 full illustration + 5 quick drawings = 6 in total," but... what a surprise!Two single illustrations + four two-drawing sessionsI was able to draw a total of 6 pictures!

I was surprised myself by the results, which exceeded my goal! From here, I'll look back at the illustrations I drew and the points where I improved.

"Super Princess Kaguya!" Fan Art

I was so moved by "Super Princess Kaguya!" which I watched on Netflix, that I created selfie-style illustrations of the three main characters.
I was so moved by the beauty and poignancy of the artwork that I couldn't help but want to draw it myself.
Despite struggling with expressing light and shadow, I'm happy with the final result!

A piece I drew to coincide with Valentine's Day.
I tried my hand at overhead shots and drawing hands for the first time!
This was a great opportunity to learn how to draw palms.

"Cat Day" illustration

On February 22nd, Cat Day, I drew a girl with "brown skin, Egyptian cat ears, and a loli look."
I focused on depicting sunlight and skin tones to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

"With a smile." A photo from graduation season.

This artwork was created with an awareness of the atmosphere, as seen in the depiction of cherry blossoms, the reflection of the sky, and the way tears are rendered.
I drew this hoping to capture that ambiguous expression—whether she's crying or laughing.

"The best photo"

A challenging project that focuses on facial expressions.
I challenged myself to express emotions I don't usually depict, and although I struggled with the balance, I'm happy with the finished piece!

"Peach Festival"

An illustration designed to evoke a soft and gentle atmosphere.
I challenged myself to "depict the atmosphere" through the light of the sky and sunlight, and the reflections of plum and peach blossoms.
I feel like I was able to utilize the sense of "being able to capture the atmosphere" that I learned in the analog era, even in the digital age.

[Reflection and Discoveries] Things I realized during my creative activities in February

• You can accomplish more in one month than you imagine! 　

By exceeding my goal, I was able to reaffirm my own potential.

• I'll continue updating my blog every week! 　

I couldn't stick to a fixed day of the week, but being able to maintain a weekly update schedule is a huge accomplishment!

• "Maintaining good physical condition" is what supports the habit of drawing.“ 　

Even if I have the desire to draw, I can't draw if my body isn't healthy.

I've come to realize that sleep, nutrition, and rest are also part of the creative process.

The quickest way to improve your illustration skills! Here's why two hours of drawing plus an hour is the best method.

[Goals for March 2026] Challenge yourself with new technologies! Start animation production and new projects!

Through my creative work in February, I've developed a strong desire to broaden my range of expression even further!

So in March, I did something I'd always wanted to do.Animation productionI'm finally going to give it a try!

My first attempt at animation production!

I've always cherished the idea of creating animation.

March will be the month we take that first step!

I'm still feeling my way around, but I'm sure that learning to express movement will lead to new discoveries in illustration.

I'm excited just thinking about how to make it move!

We're also preparing a new project!

March is the month to broaden your artistic horizons! Techniques and themes you want to try.

My illustration goal for March is:One single illustration + three two-drawn illustrationsA total of 4 cards.

This time"Taking on new technologies"This is the theme!

• Detailed background drawing
• Light and shadow effects
• Variations of facial expressions
• Expand the range of colors

I want to take on challenges that I've avoided until now.

I'm also trying my hand at VTuber fan art!

The first artwork is,Fan art of VtubersI'm planning to draw someone! I haven't decided who to draw yet, but I'll do my best to capture their charm.

I'll continue updating my blog! I'll keep it at a pace of once a week.

Following February, MarchWeekly blog updatesThat is our goal.

I hope to share new challenges, behind-the-scenes stories from production, and things I've learned in a fun way!

In summary, let's enjoy new challenges in March!
