In April, I spent my time between video production mainly drawing illustrations to use on YouTube.
In reality, I've drawn far more than what's shown here, and this month has seen a gradual increase in "easy-to-use materials."
I created these facial expression illustrations in April for my YouTube preparations.
In April, I mainly drew facial expression illustrations to use on YouTube.I was particularly conscious of "ease of use" and "range of emotions."
angry face

When I started my YouTube channel, I began by working on increasing the variety of my facial expressions.
Since it's not Live2D, I need to express emotions through facial expression changes and the number of illustrations, so I'm focusing on drawing the basic facial expressions.
Sparkling face

I particularly like this expression because it's easy to use.
This piece made me realize that "it's best to start by drawing expressions that are versatile."
Pose of carrying a book

If you're going to call yourself a reading-related YouTuber, then the gesture of holding a book is absolutely essential.
It's easy to use in both videos and blogs, so I'd like to continue adding more "everyday action" related content in the future.
Progress update on animation production! First post on YouTube!
In April, I finally uploaded a video to YouTube.
I added a little animation at the beginning,I'm satisfied with the result, considering what I was able to do at the time.
I've only made a self-introduction video so far,Post on the night of the full moonI've set this small goal, and I plan to nurture it slowly from now on.
Goal for May: Just update!

That's why I feel I need to read more books.
I'm taking a trip to Onomichi in the latter half of May! I'll enjoy getting some creative inspiration.
I'm planning a trip to Onomichi in the latter half of May.
I definitely plan to go to "Cat's Alley," and I'm really looking forward to it.
Onomichi has a rich history and often appears as a setting in various works of fiction, so I'd like to read up on various works about it before visiting.
This could be a good time for creative input as well.
Summary: May 2026 is a month to nurture the importance of "persistence".
April was a month of preparation, and May was a month of getting things moving. That's the feeling I got from those two months.
In May, YouTube became more active, and my reading blog was revived. A month to think about "how to manage this blog together with other things".It looks like that's going to happen.
The update frequency may not be very high, “"Perseverance is power."” I want to believe in those words and build upon them to the best of my ability.
