Even with other work styles, you can consult with AI, and it will create a schedule that's perfect for you.
I used to think, "An ideal day is impossible..." but now that I've put it into words, I feel like it might actually be possible.

Breaking down tasks into smaller steps improves efficiency.

"I have things I want to do, but I just can't seem to get started..." In times like these, the trick is to break down the task into smaller, manageable steps!

Actually, if you ask an AI, it can quickly help you with this as well.

For example, even a vague goal like "I want to draw illustrations" is... When I asked them to break down the process of drawing an illustration into smaller steps, they provided the following six steps.

Breaking down illustration creation into 6 steps

💡① Idea generation (10-30 minutes)

  • Decide on a theme or motif you want to draw (e.g., a fox in the forest, a city of the future, etc.)
  • Expand on the image in your mind.
  • Gather inspiration by looking at Pinterest and photos.

✏️② Rough sketch (15-45 minutes)

  • Roughly sketch the composition (make a rough outline).
  • Decide on the placement of characters and backgrounds.
  • Try drawing multiple patterns!

🖊️③ Cleanup (30-60 minutes)

  • Refine the line art based on the rough sketch.
  • When drawing, be mindful of the thickness and strength of the lines.
  • Add fine details

🎨④ Coloring (60-120 minutes)

  • Apply the base color (color separation).
  • Add shading to create a sense of depth.
  • Add highlights while being mindful of the light source.

🌈⑤ Finishing touches (30-60 minutes)

  • Draw or blur the background
  • Added effects (light, sparkle, atmosphere).
  • Adjust the overall balance using color correction and filters.

📤⑥ Save, post, and review (15-30 minutes)

  • Save in high resolution (JPEG/PNG/PSD, etc.)
  • If you're posting on social media, think about hashtags and descriptions as well.
  • I look back at my own drawings and think, "This part was good!" and "Next time, I'll do it this way!"

This is how the AI broke it down for us.

Of course, there are exceptions, but I think most of them can be used.

It can also quickly break down other steps, such as "breaking down the process until posting a blog."

Tips for improving concentration in 60-minute increments

I immediately incorporated the tasks that the AI had broken down into a smaller, manageable task into my schedule and started executing them.

Then... you might be surprised to find that it's finished much faster than you expected!

When that happens, I allow myself to play games as a reward (lol).

By the way,Using the Pomodoro Technique (25 minutes of work + 5 minutes of rest x 2 sets or 50 minutes of work + 10 minutes) will make an hour fly by and significantly boost your concentration!

The great thing about it is that you can easily start by saying, "Let's just try it for an hour."

Reasons for including break times in the schedule

The schedule created by the AI includes time for relaxation.

That's why I've come to realize that it's okay to take time to rest.

Rather,By incorporating breaks into your schedule, you can create a sense of structure in your life and naturally focus on what you need to do.

By the way, when I want to just laze around, I proudly write "laze around" in my schedule (lol).

Here are some examples of timetables I actually created.

Example weekday timetable

Lately, I've been writing out my 24-hour schedule in a notebook every day.
(※I cannot write about my actual work schedule, so this is just a hypothetical example.)

Subdivision of illustration creation

Breaking down the illustration creation process into smaller steps can also be done by writing them down on paper.
It's convenient because you don't have to wonder, "Where did I get to?" and you can always look back at your progress!

Visualizing the gap between ideal and reality

Visualizing the ideal and reality

and,Visualizing the gap between ideal and realityDoing so is also an important point.

To be honest, there are still few days when I've achieved perfection, but I continue to write diligently every day with the mindset that "it's okay if I get even a little closer!"

Make the most of "the youngest you'll ever be" with a well-structured schedule.

This time, I wrote about how I re-evaluated how I use my time, referencing the book "Time Management Techniques for People Who Can't Get Started Immediately."

I've only recently realized that the "timetable" system, which I took for granted when I was a student, was actually a very important foundation.

Sometimes I think, "If only I had known sooner..." “"Today is the youngest you'll ever be."”I will continue to believe in those words and move forward little by little.

Thank you for reading this far.

I'm not perfect yet either, but I'm making progress little by little.

Please also share your "step for today," if you don't mind.
