At a stylish shop in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, you can have the experience of creating your own special notebook.

The exterior perfectly matches the surrounding retro streetscape, and just visiting it made me excited ( *´艸｀)

This time, we've customized a passport-sized notebook, paying attention to every detail, including buttons, tags, pouches, and patches!

What is TSL Kurashiki? A fascinating shop themed around leather and travel.

Located in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, OkayamaTSL KurashikiThis is the official shop of "THE SUPERIOR LABOR," a brand that handles leather goods and canvas bags.

Wow,Apparently, the artisans carefully create each piece one by one in an atelier that has been renovated from an abandoned house in the mountains.

The store has two floors.

• 1st floor: Selling leather goods and bags from THE SUPERIOR LABOR.
• 2nd floorA wide selection of Traveler's Notebooks and travel-themed stationery and goods awaits you!

The item I customized this time was the "Traveler's Notebook Passport Size"!

The one I chose this time is,Traveler's Notebook Passport Size Blue。

Actually, the regular size I already own is also a Kyoto-exclusive blue, so I decided to get both colors!

The other colors were really cute too, and I had a hard time deciding in the store, but... I was just drawn to the blue one >_<

This palm-sized, passport-sized item is perfect for travel! I'm looking forward to seeing how it grows!

Here's a look at the customizations we actually made at TSL Kurashiki.

Buttons and tags have been added to the cover for improved functionality.

I had a button attached to the cover.Hook-and-fasten typeCustomize it.

Originally, it was designed to have the elastic band wrapped around from the back, but this style was chosen to prioritize mobility!

This was something I had decided on before even going to Kurashiki!

The tag was designed with a special placement of the string to prevent the leather from getting dented.

Many people seem to attach it to the top as an accent, and it looks great!

It has a huge presence! A big stamp on the cover!

You can get it stamped for about 500 yen per time.Original stampI really wanted it on the cover, so I went ahead and had it stamped all over it!

I could have positioned them so they wouldn't overlap with the buttons, but this time I intentionally overlapped them.

By the way,All colors except camel use white ink; camel uses black ink.yes.

They both have their own unique charm, they're wonderful!´ω｀)

A small brown pouch has been added to the inside of the back cover.

I plan to toss in paper items I receive on my travels, business cards from shops, and other things like that♪

A small pocket securely stores your travel memories.

I plan to fold up some A4 paper and put it in here to collect stamps while traveling (*´ω`*)

Add an accent to the back cover with a patch.

It wasn't planned, but I felt the back cover was a little plain.Add a patch！ Just like the small pouch, it's sewn on, so there's no need to worry about it coming off.

It's great how just a small accent can completely change the atmosphere!
