Why did I draw #, a brown-skinned Egyptian cat-eared loli? What was the reason for participating?

It all started when I came across a certain post.

This post prompted many artists on X to start using tags when posting their work.
I also went along with that trend."I want to become a master artist!"That's the feeling I had when I participated (lol).

Three things I focused on when drawing in Procreate (tanned skin, gold accessories, and facial expressions)

Points I focused on when creating the tan skin tone and expressing the shine of the hair.

I don't usually draw characters with tanned skin, so choosing the colors was a fresh experience for me.

I could have used a slightly darker color, but I added soft light to create a natural gradient.

It's been a while since I drew black hair, so I struggled with how to make it shiny. Two-stage highlighting I think adding that element helped to create a sense of delicacy and depth.

The brilliance of the gold accessories and the texture of the fabric. Attention to detail in the Egyptian-inspired design.

I really enjoyed depicting metal, and I painted it while being mindful of how light reflects and how the surrounding colors are reflected.
I had practiced depicting metal with Ellen Joe from Zenitsu Zero, which I drew previously, so I think that experience came in handy.

The fabric texture has a slightly yellowish tint to give it an Egyptian-inspired warmth.I used a lot of gradients to express softness.
By properly incorporating the cast shadow,The depth has also been adjusted to look natural.I am doing it.

Creating a troubled expression with large eyes. Attention to eye power and eyebrow angle.

The eyes are colored in contrast to the surrounding colors to emphasize their intensity.

While imagining a strong, Egyptian-looking face, I gave her a troubled expression to create a look that makes you want to protect her.

I adjusted the angle of my eyebrows many times, searching for the perfect line that conveyed a sense of vulnerability without looking too worried.

Tools used (iPad Air, Procreate, Apple Pencil)

It works well with the Apple Pencil, and the smooth drawing experience is very comfortable.

What were the most challenging aspects of the production process, and what was the most enjoyable moment while drawing?

Difficulties

• I'm not used to drawing tan skin or cat ears.

• Egyptian style = The texture of the fabric is important, so it needed to be drawn carefully.

• Since the design is quite revealing, we've made adjustments to avoid it looking vulgar.

The most enjoyable moment

I was most excited when I was painting the tan skin!
I was amazed to see how even colors I don't normally use blended in so naturally!

I really like the character design, so I'd like to draw her again in different poses and outfits.
