[May-June 2026] May Achievements Summary & June Goals! Currently Trying Animation Production

May was a month where I was able to fully dedicate myself to creative activities, such as creating illustrations, practicing animation, and preparing for my YouTube channel.

I'm gradually able to draw more and more things. "I want to get more hands-on work done next month."The biggest takeaway for me is that I've come to think that way.

This article reflects on my creative activities in May and outlines my goals for June.

A look back at my creative activities in May

In May, I drew several illustrations, mainly focusing on new expressions and poses for Pochi.

It really feels like they crammed a lot into the first half, lol.

It ended up looking a little childish, but I had a lot of fun drawing it.
It's designed so you can hold books or stuffed animals between your arms.
Pochi's range of "holding gestures" has expanded.

I regret that I might have made my hair stick up too much...
The biggest takeaway for me was being able to try out dynamic poses.
I've made the books I own interchangeable, so they're easy to reuse.

Heart Forecast Respect Animation

This month, I'm also trying my hand at animation, paying homage to "Kokoro Yohou" (Heart Forecast).

I was able to confirm that it works properly on the blog as well, and that alone was enough.「Wow, they're clapping their hands...!I was deeply moved.

It's still just a blank line drawing, but it's truly wonderful to see the moment when it slowly "starts to move."

I adjusted the way the skirt and hair spread out through trial and error.I'm experiencing both the unique challenges and joys of animation.

Creative goals for June

Completed the animation "Heart Forecast"

I've been working on this animation, a tribute to "Kokoro Yohou," little by little since May.

My goal for June is to complete this into a finished form.

Even though it was just a blank line drawing, the moment Pochi started clapping his hands and began to move, I was truly happy. "I want to make more."This became a major turning point for me.

I hope to share the progress of the project little by little on this blog.

If I have the time, I'd also like to write a making-of article.

It serves as a record of my own growth, and I would be happy if it could provide inspiration for someone else's creative work.

Create one YouTube video.

I'm still getting used to YouTube, and I'm still figuring things out as I go.

However, as my stock of illustrations has increased,"I'd like to make a video of it."I've gradually gathered the materials that I think will work.

In June, let's start with just one.

The genre might not be reading-related, and it might go off on a tangent (lol).

Even so, I hope I can get used to it as I go along.

Summary: June 2026 will be a month of "kaku"

May was a month in which I also visited Onomichi, and I breathed in lots of scenery and fresh air.

I secretly hope to capture those photos and memories in video form as well, if I have the time and resources.

June is,“"Using your hands"”A month to be mindful of.

If you can gradually increase your stock of illustrations, animations, and videos, it will surely become a great asset when you look back on it later.

That's why this month I'm going to focus solely on writing, drawing, and creating.

I want to make it a month like that.
